When you browse https://www.moorgears.com, place an order, submit a Price Match or RMA request, or message us on WhatsApp/SMS, we collect:

• Contact & Identity Data: Name, billing address, shipping address, email address, and phone number (used to fulfill orders, print USPS/UPS/FedEx/DHL labels, and clear Canadian customs).

• Order, Anti-Fraud & RMA Verification Data: Items purchased, weight/size preferences, outbound bat serial/grain photos, RMA return photos submitted by you, IP address, and browser/device fingerprint logs (used to prevent credit card fraud, item-swap scams, and unauthorized chargebacks).

• Encrypted Payment Credentials: Processed directly by Shopify Payments (Stripe), PayPal, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, or Google Pay under PCI-DSS Level 1 security. MoorGears never accesses or stores your raw credit card number or CVV.

• When you order an SG bat shipped to Toronto or Dallas, we share your name, street address, phone number, and package weight with UPS or USPS so you get real-time text/email tracking, and we store a photo of your bat's SG hologram sticker in your order file so if your bat ever needs a 30-day warranty check, we can verify its authenticity in seconds.

3. Zero Sale of Personal Data & Global Privacy Control (GPC) Compliance

• We Never Sell Your Data: MoorGears LLC does not sell or rent customer lists, phone numbers, or email addresses to third-party data brokers.

• Automatic Global Privacy Control (GPC) Recognition: In compliance with the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA) and California CPRA, our Shopify platform automatically recognizes Global Privacy Control (GPC) browser signals to opt your browser out of non-essential advertising cookies or cross-context behavioral sharing.

4. Email, SMS & WhatsApp Marketing Rules (US TCPA & Canada CASL)

Because we respect your inbox, we only send promotional emails, Open Box drop alerts, or WhatsApp/SMS messages when you explicitly opt in:

4. Right to Appeal (Texas Attorney General Notice): To exercise any right, email contact@moorgears.com and we will respond within 30 days. If we deny a request, you may appeal by emailing contact@moorgears.com with the subject "Privacy Appeal". We will issue a written appeal decision within 45 days; if you remain unsatisfied, Texas residents (and other US residents) may submit a complaint to the Texas Attorney General Consumer Protection Division or their local state Attorney General.

While MoorGears sells Junior cricket bats, pads, and kits for youth players, our website and checkout are strictly intended for adults aged 18 and older (parents, guardians, and coaches).
